Severe weather caused a wall between two parks on Via Tamborrino to collapse; no injuries have been reported so far. The mayor, who is urging residents to exercise caution when traveling to polling stations, is currently out on the streets with a large group of city employees to assess any potential problems. Since the early hours of the morning, the Municipal Civil Protection Operations Center has been deployed under his direction to minimize any potential disruption to the public.
"The entire administrative team is in place, and you can report any problems to the Municipal Police by calling 081-5654250," explains the mayor. "Gardeners and municipal workers are circulating throughout the area to urgently resolve issues related to fallen trees, while technicians are checking for blocked manholes. The Municipal Police are patrolling the most at-risk roads with all available patrols."
