Bagnoli's 'Breath' in multidisciplinary form. At Città della Scienza, from September 15th the arrhythmia of a territory.

Using multidisciplinary expressive languages, the exhibition "Breath - Arrhythmia of a Territory" by Paolo Cappelli explores the spasm of a territory, the invisible implications of a long, unfinished process, and the unexpected forms of an ongoing transformation. Paola Margherita.

Marcello Anselmo curated by Marco Izzolino (15 September - 15 October) scheduled at the IDIS Foundation - City of Science in NAPLES (Spazio Galilei), an exhibition project that involves the geographical space of the former Italsider area of Bagnoli, which has remained immobile - the organizers underline - "after decades of coexistence with harmfulness, of mediation between the territory and its inhabitants, of the prevalence of man over nature, of an almost salvific indecision to undertake a path of transformation".

The breath, it is highlighted, "It is that instinctive gesture that allows every nature to manifest itself, survive, and take shape. It is precisely from this assumption that the project comes to life, focusing on a narrative that highlights not only the space as a physical place but also its meaning as a place that generates emotions through the interpretation of its arrhythmia, understood as uncertainty during which it is possible to capture moments of legitimate interruption of reason, of nature's prevalence over intention."

In the history of Naples, following the factory's decommissioning, the Bagnoli area has always been the subject of reflection and endless planning. At the same time, the passing of the years has shaped its perception, in the collective imagination, of a timeless territory, characterized by survival and experimentation. Paolo Cappelli's photographs, Paola Margherita's sculptures, and Marcello Anselmo's documentary and soundscape essentially translate this process, entrusting the flow of life and transformation with the role of a common thread in the creation of their works.
