Naples, 180 Citizenship Income Recipients Working on Public Green Maintenance
The basic "Safety at Work" training course offered by the City of Naples has concluded for another 30 income-earners. Starting next week, they will be introduced to two ongoing projects supporting the maintenance of the city's green spaces.

The projects are: support for maintenance activities of flowerbeds, tree fountains, flowerbeds, equipped areas and small parks under municipal jurisdiction; support for maintenance activities of the horizontal green area of Hub Soccavo.
"We currently have approximately 180 hired workers (average age 35) working in the city, and we expect to soon reach the number of 360 that the projects envisaged for 2022. We are also working on a new project that will bring the total number of hired workers to 2023 in 500 to support the maintenance of horizontal greenery." declares Vincenzo Santagada, Councillor for Green Spaces of the Municipality of Naples.
