Napoli. Corso Bruno Buozzi corner of via Domenico Minichino in the district of Barra: unspecified work on a water pipe has caused residents inconvenience that has now been going on for months.
The work on the pipeline was soon completed, but the sidewalk was never repaired, leaving a mini-construction site on the road consisting of barriers, potholes, and piles of rocks. All was well, one might say, until a few days ago; in fact, it would be more accurate to say all was bad until the situation worsened beyond belief.
It got worse because someone thought it was a good idea to remove the barriers that marked the construction area.

Work area consisting of a sidewalk to be restored, potholes and piles of cobblestones. It is more than obvious that the sidewalk cannot be used by pedestrians, indeed, as shown in the photo, it is clear that citizens could easily stumble over some pothole or some stone and seriously hurt themselves.
The area is also frequented by many elderly people. Now the risk of injury is even greater, given that the barriers that once marked the area have disappeared. It's absurd. The work isn't being completed, but someone is taking the barriers away. Rapid action by the administration is urgently needed to restore full usability to the sidewalk. Meanwhile, some passersby joke: "The Municipality is waiting for someone to also remove the rocks and potholes, so the problem will be solved."
