Naples shock: a man filmed while urinating in front of the Royal Palace in Piazza Plebiscito, the most important square in the city but increasingly a no man's land for some time.
The images of the man peeing on the main entrance of the Royal Palace at 10 in the morning, to the disbelief of passers-by and tourists, are something you just can't see.
The message, with attached photo, was sent by an indignant citizen to the Regional Councilor of Europa Verde Francesco Emilio Borrelli who has been fighting for years for the redevelopment and recovery of the most important square in the city of Naples.
“Despite our appeals and our reports, incivility and vandalism continue to mortify the most important and representative square in Naples. It is time to defend and protect it also for the image of the city in the eyes of tourists.
We have been asking for a long time for the lighting of the square and for permits for tables in the premises and the installation of street furniture. When will this be done to finally stop the degradation? Furthermore, we need to address the homeless emergency: they need to be managed differently than they have been up to now”, the words of Borrelli.
