Naples. This morning the agents of the Vicaria-Mercato Police Station carried out a check at the home of a man in Vico del Fico al Mercato in the Porta Nolana area.
The officers found a semi-automatic pistol with the serial number erased and a full magazine in his bedroom, inside the bed storage compartment.
AA, a 40-year-old Neapolitan with a criminal record, was arrested for possession of a clandestine weapon and war ammunition.
The weapon has been sent to the forensic police to establish whether it was used in recent criminal acts and in the meantime investigations continue to understand why the man had a ready-to-use gun in his home.
