New appointment with the 'Storie a Femminile' in Cilento, Thursday 15 September with Maria Rosaria Pagnani.
The journey continues in the pink literary creativity of Storie al Femminile which will keep us company, also next autumn, at the building of the Matteo and Claudina de Stefano Foundation in Ogliastro Cilento.
A shared space to give voice to writers of different generations and literary genres who will present their novels and essays, many of which are set in the Cilento area. In the spotlight, Thursday 15 September, from 19 pm, the novel Mode e modi di donne, written by Maria Rosaria Pagnani, for Monetti editore. The journalist Alfonso Sarno will be in conversation with the author.
Thirty-eight "pieces" to talk about women, to tell old stories—always new—about fashions and ways of life for women, to discover what Carmela di Buccino has in common with Isabella d'Este, Lucrezia Borgia with Imelda Marcos, Marie Antoinette, Queen of France with Mary of Nazareth, Queen of Heaven, Catherine de' Medici with the embroiderer next door.

Already a founding member and vice-president of Il Circolo della Stampa di Eboli, since 1990, Pagnani has collaborated with her own column on the world of women with La Voce di Buccino (Rome), Il Corriere a Sud di Salerno (Controne). President, since 2000, of the Women's Cultural Association "Il Percorso" based in Eboli, as well as Vice-president of the Equal Opportunities Commission at the Municipality of Eboli until 2004.
Curator of numerous exhibitions of crafts and antiques, she was the creator of the project Il Museo delle donne (museum space and artisan workshops) presented in Eboli and Buccino, curator and owner of the private collection “Mode e Modi di Donne”, a permanent exhibition for the “Museo delle Donne” of Buccino based in the Casa Comunale of Buccino, until 2007.
Among other things, she is also responsible for the Women's Movement for organizing social events in the area.
The next meeting is scheduled for October 22, again at 19 pm, with Maddalena Della Valle and her book La casa della domenica, Lastaria editions. Free admission.
