A fatal traffic accident occurred last night in Pontecagnano (Salerno), killing a 24-year-old local man. The accident occurred shortly before XNUMX:XNUMX a.m. on Via Picentia, a road that connects the center of Pontecagnano with the town of Sant'Antonio.
Two 24-year-olds were riding a scooter when they went off the road for reasons still under investigation, ending up in a drainage ditch adjacent to the road.

Both were taken to the emergency room, where the young man who had suffered the most serious injuries died after an hour of attempts by paramedics to revive him.
