The Moscati Award returns in the name of courageous women. Event in Carinola: Ambassador Attanasio's wife present
Women and generosity towards others will be the common thread of the 35th edition of the "Giuseppe Moscati Award", which will take place on Sunday 11 September in the evocative setting of the Franciscan convent of Casanova di Carinola (Caserta).
Organized by pharmacist Amelia Ullucci, the award, dedicated to the memory of the saintly doctor who lent his expertise to the most needy parts of Naples in the early twentieth century, and awarded the Silver Medal of the President of the Republic, will have a "female" edition this year, featuring women who have distinguished themselves in medicine, social work, and communications, marked by enormous tragedies, yet ready to start over.
