PROCIDA 2022 – “Restart from the Future” is the fifth mockumentary in the “Ventidue” series on community projects in the Italian Capital of Culture.

Rethinking the city starting from the children, their visions, their desires. Urban planning as an innate element of our perception of Beauty. Of the salvific Beauty. It is the thin and bright line along which the "Restart from the Future" project walks, the protagonist of the fifth mockumentary of the "Ventidue" cycle, the collective story curated by Nuvola TV and Procida TV dedicated to cultural and social proposals born from below, promoted by the Municipality of Procida and included in the Procida Italian Capital of Culture 2022 program. Filmed in the premises of the island disco 404 Not Found, the narrative documentary will be broadcast online on Thursday 22 September at 20:22 on the local television youtube channel ( @procidatv). Subsequent publications will continue until the end of the year, on a fixed basis, on the 22nd of each month.
It is inspired by and follows the homonymous project conceived by Farm Cultural Park, the cultural center founded in 2010 in Favara (Agrigento), to transform the city in the process of depopulation through urban recovery interventions and cultural and economic initiatives, capable of to involve citizens of all ages and origins – including immigrants – and to generate the necessary initial induced activities, to attract artists and urban planners from all over the world and to bring home young people who have emigrated elsewhere. Renewable energies, new architectural and human forms, rediscovery of the Mycenaean past, recovery of places "bullied" by overbuilding and abandonment are just some of the themes developed by the children and young people of the island together with the designers Mario Cucinella and Marco Imperadori - researcher of the Politecnico di Milano – to OFL Architecture and LAPS Architecture studios, to the Analogique collective and to the Department of Architecture of the University of Palermo, directed by Maurizio Carta.
To give voice to the protagonists of this experience, in the role of a father conquered by the ideas of his children, is Marco Landola, 39 years old, from Procida, with a degree in Sociology of Communication and Media, with a thesis on the Neapolitan language in the theater and professional actor who he took his first artistic steps in the amateur dramatics of the island. «I liked the text and I agree with the aims of the project» says Marco who will make his debut at the Teatro Quirino in Rome on 11 October with the show “Il caso Tandoy” directed by Michele Guardì, with Gianluca Guidi. The tour will continue from 19 October to 13 November in Sicily.
