Saying what the jobs of the future could be is practically a feat. Because already today, in a period where digital transformation is something that is fully underway, there are jobs that ten years ago were futuristic and in just 5 years could even be old.
That being said, we have tried to make a small list of the future of work that awaits us from here in the coming years.
Online Security Experts
No, we are not just talking about phishing. Nowadays, with all the campaigns that have been there over the years and the powerful filters that providers have with them, it is really difficult to fall for a phishing bug. Just for completeness, phishing is that activity in which a hacker 'simulates' the graphics and text of an email from an important company in order to make you enter data.
Data that is then stolen and from there the blackmail to get it back starts. Precisely to avoid this, now the giants practically do not send emails anymore. Having said this, it must be said that being an expert in online security means, for example, guaranteeing a safe money transaction between the user and the e-commerce company in question.
Or, it means 'protecting' your site from any attacks that could bring it down. Again, it means respecting all the protocols that Google provides to every site owner. And, finally (but that's not all) also ensuring a certain security regarding the data that is uploaded online.
It ranges from having a secure, hacker-proof mailbox to cloud sharing that is not limited to just the password but actually creates a 'wall' around it. Especially when, perhaps, it involves extremely confidential and personal documents.
Professionals in managing an e-commerce
It is impossible not to have purchased online once. Be careful, online purchase does not only mean the classic site of shops that sell a product. But it can also be the portal of an airline to buy the ticket.
Here, precisely for this reason, and with a trend that shows no signs of slowing down (even if we are not at the levels of the pandemic) it is essential to have figures who know how to manage an e-commerce.
Real professionals with transversal skills. It is no longer simply a matter of uploading a product, even if specific. It is a matter of having professionalism from a legal point of view, just to name one.
For example, it's one thing to work for someone I buy diamonds and another for an electronics store. Despite, perhaps, the similarities from a fiscal point of view regarding the general lines, surely each of them has specificities that the other does not have.
Being an e-commerce expert, however, also goes hand in hand with cybersecurity since transactions involving money are involved.

But this is a point we will explore in the next paragraph.
Not just social media marketing…
Those who think that marketing is only the management of their social profile are probably in the wrong profession. Or, in any case, they don't have the faintest idea of what it is. Yes, because today being a marketing expert can really be the winning way to have an optimal income every month.
With social networks, but also with the management of the positioning of your site on Google, there is the possibility of understanding precisely what users do on your portal. And since, despite some not exactly permissive privacy laws, we will increasingly go down this road, it is important to be ready to try to work in this area.
Online marketing, however, is completely different from offline marketing because it has some characteristics that certainly cannot be ignored. For example, it is even possible to change a communication campaign on the fly.
Well, beyond the tools, instruments, technical knowledge, a web marketing expert must absolutely be equipped with intuition and the ability to read situations. In order to bring the maximum profit at the lowest possible price.
Will old works be dusted off?
This could even be a paradox of what was said before but it is not at all like that, on the contrary. In a period where vintage seems to be in fashion, ancient professions are being dusted off that, only on paper, it seemed that no one wanted to do anymore.
Take, for example, farmers. It is true that there are useful financing especially for those who want to start an agricultural business, but it must be said that there are many young people who have decided to work the land. People with high environmental sensitivity who have made a business their passion.
Furthermore, it must be said that the sensitivity on the subject has changed considerably over the years. We no longer see the rush to junk food but, on the contrary, now, even if we pay a little more, we are looking for refined taste or zero km food.
Not to mention handmade objects: a knick-knack, a dress or a wallet. A certain type of work is being rediscovered again. Is there a return to the past in the face of a digital revolution?
