This morning, officers from the Ponticelli Police Station conducted a search at a man's home on Via Hemingway and found, inside the glove compartment of his scooter, which was parked in the condominium's outdoor area, a .38 caliber revolver with six rounds of ammunition and a scratched-off serial number. A box containing 30 more rounds of the same caliber was also found on a marble slab in a skylight adjacent to the apartment.
Furthermore, the operators, inside the apartment, found and seized 3 cameras connected to a DVR system (video surveillance system) that framed the external perimeter of the house.
AV, a 21-year-old Neapolitan with a criminal record, was arrested for carrying and possession of a clandestine weapon and related ammunition.
