A Cicciano, in the Vesuvian area of Naples, there was a risk that the real protagonist of the four days of food with the excellence of Campania was violence and not gastronomy and fun.
In fact, during one of the evenings a group of people started a furious brawl that created panic among those present, including the elderly and children.
Images of the clashes ended up on social networks, and several users reported the incident to Europa Verde Regional Councilor Francesco Emilio Borrelli.

"Unfortunately, violence is increasingly becoming an integral part of society and everyday life. There are people, riffraff, who leave their homes with the sole purpose of spreading terror and violence, to show themselves strong and superior to others, as if we were living in the jungle," Borrelli comments. "Only a continuous and massive presence of police on the ground and a certain severity and certainty of sentences can restore security and stop a phenomenon of violence that every day risks turning even moments of celebration into tragedies."
