There is an ongoing investigation by order of the judiciary and entrusted to the Carabinieri of the Sala Consilina company called to reconstruct the exact dynamics of the tragic accident that occurred yesterday evening on the provincial road Teggiano-Polla, in the Salerno area.
Two victims: Terenzio Volonnino, 24 years old, and Vittorio Isoldi, 29 years old, both from Polla. Five, however, are injured, one of whom is in a reserved prognosis in the intensive care unit, hospitalized at the"Luigi Curto" hospital of Polla.
The two young people were on board a Fiat 500 while the other injured, all from Teggiano, were traveling on a Fiat Punto and an off-road vehicle. The Carabinieri, the 118 paramedics and the firefighters intervened on the scene.
The car in which the two victims were traveling ended up overturning more than 100 meters from the roadway.

"This is a terrible tragedy that leaves us all shocked and hurts our entire community. In these tragic hours, our thoughts are with the two families mourning the loss of two young lives." Thus the mayor of Polla, Max Loviso, which has already announced a day of mourning for the city on the day the funerals of the two young men will be held.
"On behalf of myself and all the people of Polla, I express my deepest sympathy to the families of these two wonderful young men, and I hereby announce a day of mourning on the day of their funeral.", concludes Loviso.
Terenzio Volonnino worked as a mechanic at an auto repair shop in Vallo di Diano, while Vittorio Isoldi worked as a laborer at a window and door company in Polla. At the express request of the parents of the two victims, a single funeral service will be held at the church of "Christ the King" of Polla.
And this evening, starting at 8:30 pm, a prayer vigil will be held in the same church in memory of the two young men from Polla.
