Salvatore Buonomo is the new Superintendent of Naples. "Prioritization, but also creativity with private individuals and art bonuses."
The new Superintendent of ABAP (Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape) for the Municipality of Naples has taken office: architect Salvatore Buonomo, former director of the Regional Secretariat for Campania.
The symbolic handover to Luigi La Rocca (who since last July has been Director General of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape and Special Superintendent for the National Recovery and Resilience Plan) took place in the Pompeian Rooms of the Royal Palace of Naples with the presentation of the second restoration project open to the public in the "Meeting-Around Restoration" series.
In his greeting Buonomo underlined "the importance of promoting institutional understanding with universities, as in this case with students accompanying the restoration.
