In September at the village 'A new look', a photography competition for architects and engineers and students of the Vanvitelli

It is called 'A new look' the photography competition aimed at university students promoted by the Order of Engineers of Caserta, chaired by engineer Carlo Raucci and that of Architects, chaired by Raffaele Cecoro in collaboration with the Department of Engineering and the Department of Architecture and Industrial Design of the University of Campania 'Luigi Vanvitelli'.

The initiative will be presented on Sunday 11 September (19,30pm) as part of the 'A village of books' event included in the September festival at the Borgo in Casertavecchia.

The photography competition, free to enter and open to members of the two professional orders, teachers and students enrolled in the degree courses of the two Departments of UniCampania, was created with the objectives of promoting and enhancing the cultural and industrial heritage of the Caserta area thanks to a "new look" of the participants and to foster relationships and synergies between the professional and academic worlds. The meeting, moderated by Luigi Ferraiuolo, will be attended by, in addition to the mayor Carlo Marino, the president of the order of engineers of Caserta, Carlo Raucci; the councilor of the same order Tiziana Petrillo; the president of the architects, Raffaele Cecoro and the teachers Alessandro Mandolini, Director of the Engineering Department of UniCampania; Ornella Zerlenga, Director of the Architecture Department of UniCampania and Renato Pelella, webmaster of the order of engineers.

The organizers' invitation to participants is to tell, through their eyes, the territory of the province of Caserta, rich in an extraordinary cultural and natural heritage and an important "industrial history": aspects that are still little known and often not valued.

On this occasion, the photographic tool will be the opportunity to marvel again at the beauties of the territory and to amaze especially in a historical period like the current one. The announcement and the rules of the competition are published on the websites of the organizing bodies.
