SOS Foundation - Telefono Azzurro Onlus and the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to support local and national schools in promoting a culture of personal data protection and respect for privacy. The agreement was signed during the State of Privacy 2022 event, held yesterday, September 23, 2022, in Naples, organized by the Authority to celebrate the institution's 25th anniversary.
The Memorandum of Understanding is the basis of the Manifesto of Pietrarsa Officially presented yesterday, the project aims to educate "children about the value of data to make them aware people, citizens, and consumers."

A collaboration, that between Telefono Azzurro and the Guarantor for the Protection of Personal Data, which has continued for several years and which is formalized through the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding for the implementation of digital education projects and awareness of respect for private life and the protection of personal data.
Over time, the two entities will develop forms of joint cooperation aimed at valorising the skills, experiences and powers of both, preparing and disseminating informative material capable of providing a real contribution to the consolidation of the culture of respect for the person.
