'I'll kill you if you get together with someone else', sentenced

"I'll kill you if you get together with someone else," a civilian employee of the Ministry of Defense serving at the Air Force specialists' school in Caserta was convicted of stalking his ex-wife.

The conviction of a man accused of stalking his ex-wife has been upheld. The Fifth Section of the Naples Court of Appeals has upheld the suspended sentence of one and a half years in prison for a 1-year-old civilian from Marcianise.

The events at issue in the trial took place between 2019 and 2020.

After separating from his wife, the man allegedly stalked his ex, stalking her, staking out her house, repeatedly ringing her intercom, and even sending her threatening messages: "I'll kill you if you get together with someone else."

This behavior would have caused the victim, who joined the civil action with her lawyer Andrea Piccolo, to become so anxious that she was forced to change her habits.

The judges also confirmed the compensation awarded to the injured party.
