A tourist who fell along the Path of the Gods was saved by the Campania Alpine and Speleological Rescue Team (CNSAS) yesterday evening.
The accident occurred along the Monti Lattari hiking trail that winds between the Amalfi Coast and the Sorrento Coast, on a stretch from Bomerano to Praiano.

The overflight allowed the subject to be identified but, due to time constraints, the helicopter was only able to release the rescuer (lowering him with the winch) who continued the intervention with the territorial team.
The man was reached via a rope descent of approximately 40 meters and secured; however, he refused medical attention, so CNSAS technicians, using rope maneuvers and pulley systems, assisted by local volunteers, brought him back to the trail. The operation concluded shortly after 21:XNUMX PM.
