Marcianise, man trapped in burning house, saved by firefighters of the Caserta Provincial Command.
Yesterday evening at around 19pm, two teams of Firefighters from the Caserta Provincial Command, one from the Command headquarters and one from the Marcianise detachment, intervened in a fire in an apartment on Via Marte in the municipality of Marcianise.
Upon arriving on the scene, the Fire Brigade entered the apartment on the first floor of a building, extinguishing the flames that had developed inside and saving a person, a man of about 50 years old, who was trapped inside the apartment by the fire.

Once outside the house, the Fire Brigade handed the man over to the emergency services, who responded to a report from the Provincial Command's operations room. Due to the burns he sustained, he was immediately transferred to hospital.
The firefighters' quick action not only saved the life of the person living in the apartment, but also prevented the fire from spreading to neighboring buildings. Once the fire was extinguished, the apartment was secured by the firefighters.
