In Cicciano hashish in the kitchen: 25-year-old arrested by the Carabinieri. The nose of the anti-drug dogs does not fail: Emanuela Di Giuseppe in handcuffs
The Carabinieri of the Cicciano station and the Sarno dog unit arrested Emanuela Di Giuseppe, a 25-year-old local woman already known to the police, for possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing.
The drug-sniffing dogs' sense of smell did not fail and in the young woman's home they recognized the unmistakable smell of hashish. She was hidden in the kitchen extractor hood.
The drugs were also found with 190 euros in cash believed to be illicit proceeds, packaging material for the doses and a precision scale. The woman is now under house arrest, waiting to tell the judge her version of the facts.
Another drug arrest was made by the Carabinieri of the Castellammare di Stabia radiomobile section who placed the handcuffs on Simone Chierchia, a 22-year-old local accused of possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing.
When the military ordered him to stop, the young man was riding his scooter. He didn't hesitate for a moment and threw away a plastic container. The carabinieri saw everything, stopped the 22-year-old and recovered the container. Inside were 11 doses of cocaine. Chierchia ended up under house arrest, awaiting trial.
