Acer Campania, Carlo Raucci, president of the Order of Engineers of Caserta, joins the Board of Directors. New prestigious role for Raucci as advisor and technician of the structure within the Campania Region.
The president of the Order of Engineers of Caserta, Carlo Raucci, joins the Board of Directors of the Campania Agency for Residential Building (Acer), a structure that has now replaced the Autonomous Institutes for Public Housing (formerly Iacp). The highest office of the engineers of Terra di Lavoro, therefore, receives a new prestigious assignment as advisor and technician of the structure within the Campania Region (the other technician is the architect Bianca De Roberto).
Acer implements the coordination of regional housing policies with the guidelines of territorial planning and supports the increase in the availability of public residential housing. The other members of the Board of Directors are Giuseppe Pagnotta and Leonardo Impegno.
Acer Campania, chaired by Davide Lebro, among its activities, promotes maintenance, recovery and replacement of existing building stock in order to make it suitable for seismic safety, energy saving and accessibility requirements. Furthermore, it provides technical administrative assistance and consultancy services for local authorities and promotes interventions aimed at enhancing real estate assets. All 550 Municipalities will have the right to directly benefit from the activities of Acer Campania. Engineer Carlo Raucci, in his just four months as president of the Caserta body, was also the architect of the candidacy to the National Council of Engineers of the councilor of the order, Tiziana Petrillo whose elections were held last October 17.
An event that had not occurred for about 20 years. A professional with a studio and business in Santa Maria Capua Vetere, where he was born, Raucci was already president of the entity in via Sant'Antonio da Padova in recent years and was part of the outgoing Council. A degree in civil engineering obtained in 1978 at Federico II in Naples, son of art, already president of the Council of the Order of Engineers of Caserta for three years (from 1999 to 2002). In the same body he was a member from July 1991 to March 2002 and from October 2005 to October 2009, to then be re-elected in June 2017.
An infrastructure expert, he has been qualified as an engineer since 1979, as well as acting as a coordinator for safety on construction sites: during his career he has carried out several important consultancies, as well as being a member of the National Legislative Activities Commission of the National Council of Engineers, and has been a member of the Committee for Programming, Planning and Regulatory Reorganization Activities in the Field of Territorial Policy of the Campania Region.
