Shooting resumes on the outskirts of Naples.
In the afternoon, an ambush occurred in the Secondigliano neighborhood. In the public housing complex called 'Chalet Baku', Nicola Notturno, 19, was wounded in an arm and a leg. In the meantime, investigations and surveys have begun in the area indicated where the shooting took place. The injured man is the son of the boss Enzo, known as Vector, and nephew of Gennaro, known as 'o sarracino. The former is in prison for being one of the directors of the first Scampia feud in Naples, the latter is one of the most important informers of the historic clans of the Secondigliano neighborhood and has allowed us to reconstruct dozens of murders.
Immediately after his repentance, in July 2017 his nephew Nicola, son of his brother Gennaro, was killed in revenge. The boy who was hit is hospitalized at Cardarelli for wounds to a leg and an arm, and is not in danger of life. But the police who are investigating have already identified who fired the gun.
The injured young man is one of the offspring of the well-known Camorra family that manages drug trafficking in the area. In 2020, in fact, 13 members of the clan and the family were arrested in a blitz by the Naples mobile squad.
The Notturno family has historically been at the head of drug trafficking and dealing activities in Lots T/A and T/B, located between Via Ghisleri, Via Fratelli Cervi and Via Bakù in the Scampia district.

The investigations, of the 2020 blitz, covered the time span up to the time of the murder of Nicola Notturno, who fell victim to a Camorra ambush on 18.09.2017, were aimed at reconstructing the daily activity of the drug dealing square and the relationships between the Notturno family, with close ties to the Abetes, and the other Camorra clans operating in the northern area of Naples.
