The twelfth season of the Teatro SalaMolière (ARTGARAGE – Via Bognar 21 – Pozzuoli), will officially begin on Saturday 8 (21,00:9 pm) and Sunday 19,00 October (XNUMX:XNUMX pm) with the show “Se so rotte 'e giarretelle” by and with Amedeo Colella, together with the music of Francesco Cuomo.
The space is the one born from the artistic and life partnership between Nando Paone, currently artistic director, and the late Cetty Sommella, demonstrating the fact that, as Paone himself declared, "In Pozzuoli the theater exists".
A start that already registered a sold out in the first evening given the high appreciation aroused by the captivating studies of the Neapolitanist and semi-serious writer Amedeo Colella and by a true full immersion in the culture of the city.
Can you have fun with the history of the Kingdom of Naples? And with the history of Neapolitan music? It seems so, walking among the anecdotes, the curiosities, the legends, the funniest songs, the professor's "paraustielli" and the music of Francesco Cuomo, hoping that ... "they don't break their giarretelle!!".
If you have some cultural gaps in your knowledge of “Neapolitanness”, if you have never wondered why they say “se so' rotte 'e giarretelle” or you don't know the names of the eight Kings of Naples represented by the statues outside the Royal Palace, the time has come to catch up with a smiling intellectual, an expert in ways of speaking and doing in the shadow of Vesuvius, who assures you «you will see some beautiful things…».
