The Tesoro di San Gennaro offers a four-day program of visits for adults and children from Saturday 29 October to Tuesday 1 November, with special itineraries and extraordinary evening openings, to discover all the secrets, curiosities and stories of its baroque treasure chest in via Duomo 149.
It starts on the weekend, Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 October (11 am), with “THE TREASURE IS FOR CHILDREN” the event dedicated to children who, together with their companions, will go to discover the Museum through a surprise path, guided by nursery rhymes and clues that will lead them to the Treasure designed just for them.
A visit that, through play, will allow even the little ones to learn about the beauty and history of the Treasure of San Gennaro.
The route is recommended for children aged 5 and up. Costs: €5,00 per child, €20,00 per adult.
We continue on Monday 31 October (19.00 pm) with “SERATA AL TESORO” a special guided tour, which will take place during the closing hours of the Museum and the Chapel.
The public will be led on an itinerary to discover the Museum of the Treasure of San Gennaro, starting from the Royal Chapel and through the magnificent sacristies, to learn about the history and legends of his birth. At the end of the tour, an aperitif will be offered in the courtyard of the Museum.
Cost: €25,00 per adult. Children up to 12 years old free entry.
On Tuesday 1 November (12.00:53) the Tesoro di San Gennaro offers the new itinerary “VISITA OGNISSANTI”, dedicated to San Gennaro and his XNUMX patron saints, together with whom he “protects” the city of Naples. You can admire statues, busts and reliquaries, authentic masterpieces that are part of the most important silver collections in the world, guided by stories, curiosities and anecdotes about the Saints.
Cost: €20,00 per adult. Children up to 12 years old free entry.
A gift: those who have the name of one of the co-patrons will pay the reduced ticket!
