High impact service in Torre Annunziata by the Carabinieri of the local company who combed the streets of the city south of Naples and the neighboring municipalities.
A 40-year-old of Moroccan origin resident in Boscoreale ended up in handcuffs, by order of the Court of Nocera Inferiore, and will have to serve a one-year prison sentence for aggravated theft.
During the operations, the Carabinieri reported a 29-year-old, a 23-year-old and a 35-year-old local for driving without ever having obtained a license with a repeat offense in the two-year period. A 40-year-old was also reported for evasion after he had left the home where he was under house arrest.
A 66-year-old local man, however, was caught while talking to other criminals despite being under special surveillance and for this reason he was reported.
Finally, an illegal non-EU citizen was also reported on the national territory.
During the operation, which led to 1 arrest and 6 people reported, the military personnel identified 71 people and checked 37 vehicles.
