Last night the police officers Saint John-Barra, with the support of the Nibbio of the General Prevention Office and the Campania Crime Prevention Department, carried out an extraordinary territorial control service in the San Giovanni-Barra neighborhood.
During the operation, 175 people were identified, 41 of whom had a police record, and 106 vehicles were checked, 2 of which were subjected to administrative seizure; 26 violations of the Highway Code were also contested for driving without a protective helmet, lack of insurance coverage, driving without a license and failure to undergo MOT testing.
Finally, the operators reported a person for illegal possession of weapons or objects capable of causing offence because he was found in possession of a knife and a baseball bat, while another was administratively sanctioned for possession of a narcotic substance for personal use because he was caught with a stick of hashish.
The checks were then extended to Viale 2 Giugno, the Taverna del Ferro municipal road, Via Nuova Villa, Via Sorrento, Via Ravello, Via Mastellone, Via del Fauno and the Cupa Pironti local road.
During the operation, 41 vehicles were removed, including 38 cars and three motorcycles, as they were found to be abandoned.
