Arrested in the Spanish Quarters: He had weapons and ammunition in his house

In the Spanish Quarters, a 42-year-old was caught with weapons and ammunition in his home. Arrested.

This morning, officers from the Flying Squad and the Montecalvario Police Station carried out a check at the home of a man in Vico Tofa where they found an “Olympic” brand revolver, caliber 38, with 5 blank cartridges and without the red cap.

Furthermore, in a room used by the man, the operators found another 7,65 caliber pistol with the serial number erased and with 4 cartridges whose origin the man was unable to justify.

MT, a 42-year-old Neapolitan with a criminal record, was arrested for possession and receiving of a clandestine weapon.

The 42-year-old was unable to justify the possession of the weapons

Now the police are continuing their investigations by sending the weapons to the scientific section which will have to establish whether they were used in recent criminal acts and then understand why the man had those two guns or whether he was instead acting as custodian of the weapons on behalf of someone.
