The November events at the Nest Theater are coming. From Foja to Francesco Forni, passing through Adriano Pantaleo and Francesco Montanari.
After the success of the month of October which recorded a great public participation with all the events sold out within a few hours of the announcements, the journey of Est, the festival of arts and entertainment of Naples East created by Nest Teatro in collaboration with Callysto, continues.
The month of November opens with the concert by Francesco Forni (November 4th at 21 pm) at the Teatro Nest: the Neapolitan singer-songwriter who in 2022 released the new album “Una sceneggiata”, will inaugurate a month full of proposals between music and theater.
We continue to the rhythm of Neapolitan folk with the concert of Foja (November 11 at 20:30 pm) at the Centro Asterix. “Miracoli e rivoluzioni” is their latest album: 12 songs that range from blues to rock with influences of electronic and popular music.
On November 13th at 21 pm at the Nest theatre the show Non Plus Ultras with Adriano Pantaleo and directed by Gianni Spezzano will be performed. Through a theatrical investigation lasting 4 years, Pantaleo and Spezzano try to explain the Ultras' lifestyle. The dramaturgical structure of the show proceeds to the discovery of this ethical and behavioral code, revealing its merits and limits.
The emotions of Est continue on November 19th at the Asterix center (20 pm) with Clara – Piano and voices dedicated to Clara Schumann, curated by the Accademia Prico. Starting from the epilogue of her married life, the show tells the intense human and artistic story of Clara Wieck Schumann.
On November 20th at 21 pm at the Asterix Center, Cristo di periferia will be performed with Francesco Montanari and directed by Davide Sacco: What would happen if a new Christ were born today, in any suburb of the world? A journalist "from a newspaper that doesn't come out on newsstands" is sent by his director to a circus in the suburbs to write an article about a "poor Christ" who, in his trailer, transforms water into wine and multiplies the loaves and fishes.
The month of Est closes on November 26th at the Asterix Center (20 pm) with Back to Amy, a journey into the music and talent of Amy Winehouse curated by the Accademia Musicale Prico. Through films, interpreted readings and songs the spectator will experience the passion of the artist and the contradictions of the woman Amy.
The event is organized with the contribution of the MIC and the Municipality of Naples, for an autumn of culture and aggregation. The artistic direction has been entrusted to the Nest company.
