Aversa, Italy, caught dumping hazardous waste on the street: a 62-year-old man placed on probation. The man had no license or insurance and was required to sign in.

Yesterday evening in Aversa, the Carabinieri of the Operational and Radiomobile Nucleus of the local Company proceeded to report at liberty for dumping and abandonment of special waste and for violation of probation, a sixty-two-year-old resident of Giugliano in Campania.

The man was caught by the military of the Arma while he was dumping special waste such as aluminum, plasterboard and bricks from a van, onto the roadway of via dei Cappuccini in Aversa.

Further investigations revealed that the defendant was a probationer under house arrest in the Municipality of Giugliano, did not have a driving license, and that the van he was using was not insured. The vehicle and waste were seized.
