Flooded and unusable bathrooms at Materdei elementary school. Problems at Fava-Gioia elementary school in Salita San Raffaele
More problems for Neapolitan schools. This time under the magnifying glass ends up the Plesso Gioia of the Fava-Gioia elementary school in Salita San Raffaele where the pupils' bathrooms are flooded and unusable.
“I would like to report the conditions of the bathrooms at the Fava Gioia comprehensive institute, Gioia complex. The other morning we had to pick up the children after two hours because the bathrooms were broken. The complex will remain open, apparently using only the teachers' bathroom for all the students in the complex.”, is what a mother said when addressing the Regional Councilor of Europa Verde Francesco Emilio Borrelli.
“We have sent a note to the school management to understand what happened, what the timeframe is to restore the usability of the bathrooms and whether the teachers' bathroom alone is enough for everyone. In any case, we invite you to speed up the process.”- Borrelli declared.
And then he added: "the situation of our schools is increasingly problematic. We need to put in place new resources and solutions to guarantee the new generations an education without interruptions in adequate and safe structures".
