It is likely that the impact on the ground was cushioned by an iron net located in the area below the building where a two-year-old girl fell this morning in Fisciano, in the Salerno area.
The little girl fell, for reasons yet to be ascertained, from a third-floor window. In the impact she suffered a fractured shoulder and several abrasions to her face but, fortunately, her life is not in danger even if she is still hospitalized at the Santobono pediatric hospital in Naples.
When the volunteers from “La Solidarietà” in Fisciano arrived in Corso San Vincenzo, the little girl was crying and clearly scared. She was rushed to “Ruggi” in Salerno, where she was taken care of by the doctors of the pediatric department.
She was subsequently transferred to the hospital in the regional capital. Rescuers found her on the asphalt in the area below the window from which she fell.
For the exact reconstruction of what happened, we await the outcome of the investigations carried out by the scientific staff, coordinated by the deputy prosecutor of the Court of Nocera Inferiore, Roberto Lenza.
The investigations were entrusted to the Carabinieri of the Mercato San Severino company, under the command of Commander Massimo Avallone.
