Three hundred and forty-six years and four months of imprisonment: a blow for the Cimmino clan of Vomero that had infiltrated the hospitals of Naples and for its accomplices and colluding entrepreneurs.
And how much has the deputy prosecutor of the DDA of Naples Henry John Woodcock asked, overall, against the people accused in the trial with the abbreviated procedure on the infiltration of the camorra in the contracts of several important Neapolitan hospitals, an investigation in which the magistrate is supported by his colleagues Celeste Carrano and Francesco Raffaele.
The requests – which vary between 18 and 4 years in prison – were formulated by the magistrate in front of the preliminary hearing judge Anna Imparato at the end of her closing speech. Last April 48st the prosecutors requested the referral to trial of XNUMX suspects, among whom are the leaders of some important Neapolitan clans (seven in total) such as the boss Louis Cimmino, and also several officials from the most important hospitals in Napoli, such as Cardarelli, the “dei Colli” company and the Nuovo Policlinico, all of which are part of the injured parties in the process.
About forty have chosen the abbreviated rite, like the boss Cimmino himself and his son Franco Diego (both of whom have since become collaborators of justice) for whom 9 and 14 years of prison were requested respectively.
