Evening of checks by the Carabinieri Caserta. Several have been reported at large.
Late yesterday evening and until the early hours of this morning, the Carabinieri of the Caserta Company carried out, in this city centre, a coordinated territorial control service aimed at countering the commission of crimes against people and property.
During the checks, six people were reported at liberty, as they were caught, respectively, in violation of the provisions imposed by the special surveillance of the police with a ban on staying in the province of Caserta, driving a moped with a counterfeit frame, already subject to administrative seizure, driving a vehicle while intoxicated and refusing to undergo a breathalyzer test.
Finally, a forty-two-year-old and a forty-year-old from Caserta were stopped while removing ferrous material from inside a private property located on Viale Carlo III.
The special service also allowed us to proceed with the contestation of 23 violations of the highway code and to withdraw 5 driving licenses.
