In two years of pandemic, views on the Ministry of Health's social channels have seen a real boom, going from 36 million in 2019 to 243 million in 2021.
While the number 1500 made available to provide information 24 hours a day on topics such as vaccines and green passes, up to September 31, 2021, has answered 3,2 million calls, of which 70.000 from abroad. This is reported in the Report on the State of Health of the Country 2017-2021, published on the portal of the Ministry of Health and sent to Parliament.
The information on the health status of the population and on the implementation of health policies shows how the Covid-19 has led citizens to inform themselves in person on the digital communication channels of the Ministry of Health, going directly to the source of the news.

In particular, the Facebook channel has totaled 1.5 million followers (with an increase of 5%), the Twitter channel 283.859 followers (+30%), Instagram 609.978 followers (+10%) and YouTube 39.100 followers (+12%). Finally, the information from the Ministry of Health is considered reliable or very reliable by 83% of Italians.
