Covid in Campania, positive cases decreasing: 2 victims. Even at a national level, infections are halved but in Campania hospitalizations are increasing (+10) and admissions to intensive care (+1)
There are 768 positive cases of Covid today in Campania (740 with the antigen test and 28 with the molecular swab), data that take into account the update on quarantine and isolation measures by the Ministry of Health.
While there are 5276 tests carried out of which 4.164 antigen tests and 1.112 molecular tests for a positivity rate of 14,55%, down from 16,8% recorded yesterday. Two victims, dating back to recent days but recorded yesterday.

The regional bed-place report shows 575 intensive care beds available, of which 6 occupied (+1) while the available hospital beds, between Covid beds and private supply, are 3.160, of which 263 occupied.

Instead, the new cases of Covid-19 diagnosed in Italy have halved in the face of a sharp drop in swabs processed, as during every weekend: in the last 24 hours, 13.316 (yesterday 28.509) infections have been detected with 85.693 swabs (yesterday 147.359), for a positivity rate equal to 15,5% (-3,8%).
There have been 47 deaths, for a total of 177.197 since the beginning of the pandemic. Among the regions, Emilia Romagna reports the highest number of cases (1.967), followed by Lombardy (1.847), Lazio (1.437). The currently positive cases are 466.949 of which 462.289 are isolated at home, 140 (+7) in intensive care and 4.520 (+228) hospitalized in medical wards. The recovered are over 14 thousand.
