Fillegal taxi driver arrested: 35 euros per person to take tourists in the Caserta area. Two people were stopped yesterday afternoon and this morning in Bari because they were caught in the activity of renting minibuses with drivers and illegal taxis.
The agents of the local police of the capital, with stakeouts and tailing, identified, yesterday, a foreign citizen who had brought eight people into his van just disembarked from a ship. The travelers were headed to Caserta and the driver had asked 35 euros per person for the transport.
The illegal rental company was stopped and the vehicle seized. The same fate for the driver of another vehicle stopped this morning and engaged in the same illegal activities.

The penalty for this type of violation of the highway code includes fines of up to 694 euros and administrative seizure of the vehicle from 2 to 8 months.
