Just over 400 kilos of food subjected to administrative seizure, the suspension of the activity of a kitchen, 84 prescriptions, 6 warnings, the suspension of a pizzeria and fines for a total amount of 11.000 euros.
These are the numbers that describe only the latest, in chronological order, of the control activities carried out by the staff of the ASL Prevention Department Napoli 1 Center. Checks in restaurants, aimed at ensuring food safety and compliance with the rules, began on Thursday evening in the Fuorigrotta neighborhood.
A massive operation in which 34 women and men from the Prevention Department took part, including veterinarians, doctors and prevention technicians. Nineteen establishments 19 establishments (10 restaurants, 4 pizzerias, 2 pubs, 1 ice cream shop and 2 rotisseries).
The control operations will continue without stopping, on a weekly basis, with the aim of protecting health and ensuring compliance with all existing regulations so as to make the checks increasingly effective and thorough.
