Adding insult to injury. The gourmet pizzeria “Da Lionello” in Succivo, in the Caserta area, after receiving an electricity bill of almost 12 thousand euros, suffered a burglary by 5 individuals, who arrived on board a black Golf, who after having entered the premises, smashing the shutter and the glass, took away the cash register, turning the pizzeria upside down.
The owner, Salvatore Lionello, reported the incident on social media with a video outburst also showing images of the theft taken from security cameras.
“You came in 5, you did damage of almost 5 thousand euros to steal what was in the cash register and the kids' piggy bank, that is, practically nothing. You only did enormous damage to entrepreneurs who provide a living to 16 families.”– the words of despair Lionello.
“We express our full solidarity with Salvatore Lionello for the theft and the difficult period he is facing, like many other entrepreneurs and traders.” – commented the Regional Councillor of Europa Verde Francesco Emilio Borrelli- “Thefts are constantly increasing and occur at the expense of private citizens, traders and shopkeepers, and public property.
No one is safe, the territory is at the mercy of delinquents and criminals. This is why we have been shouting out loud for a long time that we need a new security plan. More effective and decisive: more officers on the streets and a strengthened video surveillance network”.
