“The Four Days of Naples, forever, in the agenda of our memory”: exhibition conference at the Vittorini High School in Naples. Friday 7 October, at 10,30:XNUMX, inauguration of the exhibition curated by architect Gianfranco Pignatelli
On Friday 07 October, at 10,30:XNUMX, the “Elio Vittorini” scientific high school in Naples will inaugurate the exhibition, “The Four Days of Naples, forever, in the agenda of our memory”, dedicated to the celebrations of the heroic popular movement that led to the liberation of the city of Naples.
The initiative, curated by architect Gianfranco Pignatelli, will open with a conference, hosted in the Aula Magna of the high school, which will be attended by Ciro Raia, president of the Anpi, the national association of Italian partisans, and Antonio Amoretti, protagonist and witness of those extraordinary days.
In this troubled historical moment in which we are living, the initiative is not limited to the story of the events that, in September 1943, led to the liberation of Naples from Nazi-fascism, but is also intended as an example and a warning so that the horrors of the past should not be forgotten.
The exhibition will be open to visitors until November 11th.
