In Marigliano, people are mourning the death of the well-known entrepreneur Angelo Sepe, known as Giulio, owner of “Caffè Vesuvio”, an ancient coffee roasting company in the town.

The flames appear to have started due to a short circuit and on the first floor 82-year-old Angelo Sepe was found unconscious, probably due to smoke fumes, and apparently died shortly after on the way to the hospital.
The victim's 81-year-old wife and their 54-year-old son, who lives on the upper floor, were rescued. Mother and son are fine. The body was returned to the family.
No damage to the structure: the firefighters are completing the investigations to establish the root cause.
“We mourn an extraordinary man who always believed in the potential of his territory and who started from here to build a company now known even on international markets. He was a great entrepreneur, a great father and a great grandfather. I hug his entire family tightly. RIP Giulio Sepe”, wrote the mayor of Marigliano, Peppe Iossa, on his Facebook page.
