Naples. Weapons and drugs hidden in the Ponticelli neighborhood seized by law enforcement.
This morning, officers from the Flying Squad, the Ponticelli Police Station and the financial police of the Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza, with the support of the Guardia di Finanza Canine Units, carried out a check at a building on Viale Carlo Miranda, where they found a loaded Beretta semi-automatic pistol with the serial number erased, 7 rounds of 9×21 caliber ammunition, 16 rounds of 380 caliber ammunition, a package containing approximately 148 grams of cocaine, 3 cell phones and 15.000 euros.
In the elevator shaft of the building, law enforcement found and seized a military-style hand grenade, 13 blocks of hashish weighing approximately 1,3 kg, several bags of marijuana for a total weight of approximately 400 grams, 46 rounds of GFL ammunition, 9 rounds of Luger ammunition and various material for packaging drugs.
Investigations are underway to identify the people involved in drug dealing.
