The commissioner of Napoli has adopted a measure banning access to sporting events (DASPO), lasting one year, against a 26-year-old Neapolitan fan who, during the Napoli - Torino football match, played last October 1st at the "Maradona" stadium.
He had been reported for climbing over because he had passed the barrier separating two gates and then moved from the upper sector of curve B to the lower one.
Another measure, lasting seven years, was adopted against a 35-year-old from Nola in reference to the Nola – Portici football match played last September 24 at the Volla Municipal Stadium.
On that occasion, the officers of the Nola Police Station had intervened following a report of a clash between fans of Nola and Savoia which had taken place in via Matilde Serao in Cercola, an area where the “Nola – Portici” matches were being played in the Volla stadium and the “Savoia – Ischia” matches were being played in the Cercola stadium.
The police then went to Via Seminario, near the Nola stadium, where they saw several fans who were returning from the away match in Volla and, in particular, they surprised the 35-year-old while he was taking two baseball bats from the car and, for this reason, they reported him for carrying weapons or objects capable of causing offence.
