Napoli. Yesterday afternoon an officer from the Police Station Arenella, while he was going to work, he noticed, at the intersection between via De Amicis and via Cavone delle Noci allo Scudillo, a car travelling at high speed in the wrong direction, with the trunk door open from which several iron platforms used for the construction of scaffolding were sticking out.
The policeman, suspicious, reported the car and the direction of escape to his colleagues at the police station; the officers, shortly after, intercepted the car in via Nuova Toscanella, with an iron scaffolding board on the roof rack and with the doors open, and saw a man exit from a landing belonging to a house and head towards the car to unload the platform.
The officers, therefore, checked him and found that he was under house arrest for improper robbery; furthermore, they saw in the landing several scaffolding boards, identical to the one placed on the car, the origin of which the man was unable to justify.
Finally, the police identified the owner of the property as a 44-year-old Neapolitan and he too was unable to justify the provenance of what was found on his property.
The man, a 38-year-old Neapolitan, was arrested for evasion and reported for receiving stolen goods together with the owner of the property.
