The Carabinieri of the investigative unit of the provincial command of Naples have arrested Francesco Percich – class 92 – pursuant to a provision issued by the Court of Appeal of Napoli.
The man was arrested thanks to a European arrest warrant issued by the authority French judiciary who had considered him seriously suspected of having committed 7 robberies a Paris. Luxury watches the goals of the robberies which took place in jewelry stores and to the detriment of citizens from beyond the Alps for a total loot that reaches almost 150 thousand euros.
For those crimes, the 30-year-old had been subjected to the measure of the obligation to report to the judicial police but his continuous violations reported by the Carabinieri had led to the order of imprisonment last April.
An arrest warrant that had been pending since Percich had gone missing and declared himself a fugitive. Pending until yesterday when the military of the investigative unit - in the context of an investigation characterized by financial checks and web patrolling - tracked him down.
The man, when he felt the hands of the Carabinieri on his shoulders, was on Corso Vittorio Emanuele in Naples and was getting into a taxi. Arrested, he is now in prison at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
