The police officers therefore headed towards Corso Garibaldi where other passers-by indicated the direction of the two criminals' escape until, having reached Via San Cosmo Fuori Porta Nolana, they reached the young man on the scooter who was chasing them and who, in the meantime, had managed to recover the wallet and return it to the victim.
One of the officers, due to traffic conditions, also got on board the vehicle and, in via Padre Ludovico da Casoria, reached and blocked one of the robbers, while the other managed to disappear.
AAI, a 33-year-old Algerian with a criminal record and an illegal immigrant on national territory, was arrested for robbery.
