And so the State Police personnel executed a custodial detention order issued by the GIP of the Court of Napoli, at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office, against Bruno Massimo, 42 years old, considered to be seriously suspected of the crimes of attempted aggravated murder, attempted aggravated robbery, aggravated resistance, illegal possession of a firearm and escape.
On the night of August 22, in Via Peppino De Filippo, an armed individual, riding a Peugeot Tweet scooter, attempted to commit a robbery against a young passerby, an event that did not occur thanks to the timely intervention of an off-duty police officer.
Il bandito, still riding his moped, had immediately fled. During the subsequent chase, in via Aquileia, the robber had been caught by the officer and, to gain a new advantage, had fired two gunshots at the latter, without hitting him, thus managing to disappear definitively.
The investigative activity allowed to gather serious evidence of guilt against the suspect, also recognized, following photographic identification, by the victim of the attempted robbery. The scooter used during the criminal event, moreover, turned out to be owned by the wife of the offender and was found a short distance from their home, where it had been hidden.
The man, already subjected to the precautionary measure of house arrest for another proceeding, was traced at his home.
