Last appointment with the night walks in Pompeii, Friday 4 November, from 20,00:23,00 to 22:XNUMX (last entry at XNUMX:XNUMX). The evening closes the evening events that have animated the summer season of Pompeii.
The route begins at Porta Marina and leads to the monumental area of the Civil Forum – illuminated by Enel Sole – where all the main public buildings for the administration of the city and justice, for the management of business, for commercial activities, such as markets, as well as the main places of worship in the city overlook.
Visitors will be accompanied by a sound artistic intervention created by Invernomuto (Simone Bertuzzi and Simone Trabucchi), who, starting from the work “Black Med, POMPEII” – created thanks to the support of the Italian Council (VII edition, 2019), a project of the Directorate General for Contemporary Creativity, presented by Fondazione Morra Greco, Naples and included in the new contemporary art collection (Collectio) of the Park within the Pompeii Commitment. Archaeological Materials program – has created a sound installation, developed specifically for the evening, which intercepts, collects and composes together the sound trajectories that cross the complex and stratified area of the Mediterranean.
On the internal lateral wall of the Basilica, instead, 79 AD will be projected, a video by the artist Giovanna Silva, in collaboration with Giacomo Bianco. A selection of about 90 photos taken during the pandemic emergency, and published in her two contributions (Commitment and Inventory) for the portal www.pompeiicommitment.org in May 2021.
The tour ends with a visit to the Antiquarium, a 800th century building that houses a museum space dedicated to the permanent exhibition of finds illustrating the history of Pompeii. Exit from Piazza Esedra. During evening visits, the Antiquarium bookshop will be open to the public.
Admission is €5 (reductions and free admission, as per current legislation). Access will be allowed up to a maximum of 1500 people, distributed over time slots (500 per hour). Online purchase is recommended at www.ticketone.it.

Furthermore, on the occasion of the All Saints' Day holiday on November 1st, all the sites of the Pompeii Archaeological Park – Pompeii, Oplontis/Villa di Poppea, Boscoreale/Villa Regina, Stabiae/Villa Arianna, Villa San Marco and the Archaeological Museum of Stabia “Libero D'Orsi” – will remain open.
