She died in the Ospedale del Mare in Napoli, where the 76-year-old woman, mother of a 48-year-old man who had beaten the woman and a 67-year-old aunt, had been transferred due to the injuries she had suffered.

The 48-year-old, drunk, had attacked his mother and aunt, aged 76 and 67, hitting them with kicks and punches. He is Nello La Gala, 48, a philosophy teacher at the “Colombo” high school in Marigliano and former councilor of the city council in 2018.
The two women had been rescued by an ambulance: one had been taken to the hospital in Nola and then to the Ospedale del Mare where the other woman had been immediately taken.
The charge against the man for aggravated injuries is aggravated after the death of his mother. He is now in the Poggioreale prison.
