Pippo Civati in Naples, October 20 at the Foqus Foundation. Appointment at 19.30:XNUMX pm. The meeting will discuss these political elections, but above all the future and the possible left.
With the political elections of September 25th over, the work of building a solid, coherent, combative and active left-wing political space on the issues of work, rights, social justice and environmentalism does not stop.
Continuing his electoral campaign by continuing his tour of the squares and streets of Italy is Pippo Civati, a candidate with the list Alleanza Verdi e Sinistra in quota Possibile, a party of which he is the founder and a prominent figure: on Thursday 20 October at 19:30 pm he will be in Naples, a guest of the Napoli Possibile committee, at the Foqus Foundation in the Spanish Quarters. These political elections will be discussed, but above all about the future and the possible left, also through the words of his book “Un po' di possibile (altrimenti soffoco)”, published by People.

These are Civati's words the day after the vote: “Here we are and will be making opposition. In Parliament but above all in society. With the contrast to the dangers that this extreme right presents us but with our idea of the country. With the relationship with people, with words, with commitments, with the clarity that is needed. With books and with culture because, even if it doesn't seem like it, the problems all come from there. The left loses because it hasn't been on the side of the weakest, because it hasn't defended the salaries that were falling precipitously, because it didn't make the minimum income ten years ago, because it didn't believe in changing the development model (the climate!), because it has governed too often without politics. Because it has exchanged the governments of all with a partisan political option. Because it hasn't used its imagination good, that is needed – in the name of a sloppy and unpromising political realism. Because it approved a filthy and completely self-destructive electoral system. Because it has not been more left-wing. We knew it and said it. Now it is time to do it. The invitation is extended to everyone. Stay on top of things, inform yourselves, study, talk to people, join a party, a union, an association for the rights of each and every one. Make beautiful things live and make them grow. Only in this way will we get out of this. We said 'endless campaign' and it will be an endless campaign. Thanks to everyone. From the bottom of my heart”.
